Fifteen months after the first hearing at the Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) in January 2012, the CITY & SUBURBAN HOMES FIRST AVENUE ESTATE hardship application is back!

Classicizing Art-Deco style building designed by Sylvan Bien and constructed in 1940. Application to remove ground floor window grilles.
12-22 East 89th Street
A Romanesque Revival style apartment hotel designed by Thomas Graham and built in 1891-93. Application is to demolish and reconstruct a portion of the building, and construct rooftop additions.
