FRIENDS' Testimony:
The Preservation Committee at FRIENDS finds the sensitive, thoughtful restoration of this building to be completely appropriate. In particular, we applaud the approach to the simple rear façade featuring wood sash. If anything were to be improved, the Committee would prefer a wooden door at the main entrance, akin to the door at neighboring 51 East 67th Street.
