FRIENDS' Testimony:
The rooftop mechanical equipment at 22 East 72nd Street is minimally visible and therefore appropriate. The Preservation Committee at FRIENDS appreciates the diligence of the Landmarks Preservation Commission but regrets that an element included in the original proposal was required to undergo the public process for a second time. FRIENDS supports the Commission’s approval of this application.
