FRIENDS' Testimony:

Despite the complications that may result from the operation of casement windows in front of an interior bulletproof glass panel, the Preservation Committee at FRIENDS views this proposal as an opportunity to restore the original configuration of the second floor windows. Our committee also recommends that all of the window trim on the façade be painted white, their original color, and the color of similar neo-Federal townhouses on the block. With these changes FRIENDS can support Commission approval of this application.
