FRIENDS' Testimony
FRIENDS appreciates the establishment of a master plan governing future window installation. However, as the windows are the most prominent design feature of 1065 Park Avenue, our Preservation Committee laments the loss of the double-hung windows and fine frame detail that add visual interest to the building’s simple façades. As most of the existing windows are double-hung we see no reason to ensure their future removal. FRIENDS does not support this application.
