FRIENDS' Testimony:

The Preservation Committee at FRIENDS appreciates the architect’s thoughtful approach to the restoration of the exterior and to the design of the rear elevation. The repainting of the facade to a limestone color is in keeping with the historic, polychromatic appearance of the Treadwell Farm Historic District, and the new wooden windows are historically appropriate. On the rear elevation, FRIENDS welcomes the brick exterior and multi-light windows. The use of masonry and punched openings reflect our belief that a traditional secondary facade should look like one. To FRIENDS, the rear yard encroachment is minimal, and is in line, if not smaller, than other rear additions on the block. FRIENDS supports this application.
