FRIENDS' Testimony:
Our Preservation Committee appreciates the restoration of the beautiful first floor windows, and does not object to the proposed change in operation of the second floor windows. In addition, we are pleased that the proposed door and railing will not call attention to itself. While we understand that new, insulated windows are important to energy efficiency, we do think though that the proposed new frames are a bit bulky, although they do not significantly impact the overall appearance. FRIENDS supports this project.
