LPC Hearing: 10/31/17 (Approved)
Other projects: April 24, 2018
FRIENDS' Testimony:
Based on the significant number of alterations to the windows on the rear facade, the potential for this elevation to have a uniform appearance has already been compromised. While not preferable, due to increased visibility from the neighboring schoolyard, enlarging these floor windows will not directly harm the historic character of the building.
While FRIENDS strongly recommends that the building’s co-op board put in place a master plan for the windows in order to guide future projects, our Preservation Committee can support this application.
