FRIENDS can support this application. The proposed combined storefronts, featuring red metal frames, are appropriate within the guidelines of the Madison Avenue Master Plan. We are pleased to see the proposed storefront opening heights and the new limestone cladding color will align with the adjacent buildings. We have no objection to the proposed limestone mosaic pattern, regardless of whether a darker accent is incorporated. Overall, we believe this is a handsome design that will enhance the storefronts along this section of Madison Avenue.
