FRIENDS' Testimony:

The proposed access lift will not affect any historic fabric, and is a better option over the installation of a ramp at the main entry to the building, which would be a complicated endeavor due to the multiple sets of steps leading to the lobby. We wonder, though, about the user’s experience when operating this lift, traveling down an alley and through a basement door just to access the building. Although we regret the loss of the flowers and greenery behind the fence that serve to brighten up the alleyway, FRIENDS can support this proposal.
