FRIENDS' Testimony:

The FRIENDS’ Preservation Committee found the proposal at 4 East 75th Street to be an improvement to the disordered rear façade currently in place. While we always regret the loss of historic fabric, this proposal is not visible from the public way and is discreetly designed. We specifically appreciate the approach to fenestration, unexpected when so many applicants propose a rear wall made entirely of glass. Our committee supports the approval of this application.
