FRIENDS' Testimony:
As we previously testified before the Commission, the Preservation Committee at FRIENDS was torn over the material choice for the initial proposal. As such, we were delighted to have the opportunity to review a new solution for 34 East 68th Street. We found the applicant’s innovative use of terracotta to address the rapidly delaminating brownstone not only appropriate but supremely interesting.FRIENDS supports this application, and commends the applicant for their initiative. We look forward to following the progress of this project as it continues.
