FRIENDS' Testimony:

While the Preservation Committee at FRIENDS prefers a return to the original multi-paned window configurations, very few of these historic windows remain and none of which are on the primary façades. Therefore a master plan that will guide the replacement of existing aluminum windows with new 1/1 aluminum windows is suitable. However, the dimensions and profiles of the proposed windows are substantially larger than the historic condition and our committee asks that the Commission work with the applicant to find a more appropriate window with thinner framing.
