FRIENDS' Testimony:

Our Committee found the sidewalk reconstruction at 121 East 78th Street to be appropriate. The applicant’s re-setting of the existing bluestone, with in-kind replacement when necessary, is a sensitive approach to the sidewalk repairs needed. The expansion of the existing tree-pit, although an incursion into the public way, is acceptable as it is required to meet DOT regulations.
