FRIENDS of the Upper East Side congratulates Lisa Kersavage on her nomination by Mayor Mamdani to serve as Chair of the Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC).

A respected leader in historic preservation, Lisa currently serves as Executive Director of the LPC and brings a wealth of expertise in preservation and urban planning to this new role. We also take immense pride in her history with our organization, having served as our own Executive Director from 1999 to 2004.

We are delighted to see her leadership recognized at this level and extend our warmest congratulations. We look forward to work with her to advance new landmark designations in Yorkville and safeguard the historic fabric of the Upper East Side.
