FRIEND'S Testimony:
FRIENDS’ Preservation Committee supports the French doors on the second floor, as this level serves as a visual transition between the limestone base and the upper floors with double windows, making the proposed change from double windows to French doors appropriate. However, the Committee found the limestone base lacking visual interest without the window openings between the arched doorways, which are essential for creating movement and depth at that level. We also request clarification on the signage dimensions: while the drawing on page 6 specifies 6-inch lettering, the rendering on page 8 appears to show significantly taller letters.
