CB8 Hearing: 07/13/15 (Disapproved)
LPC Hearing: 08/11/15 (Approved)

FRIENDS' Testimony:

The Preservation Committee would prefer to see the original window configuration maintained as originally approved by the Commission. If the multi-paned steel casements cannot be repaired, they should be replaced in-kind. Similarly, a new wooden double-hung window is best suited to replace the old one. The use of single-paned windows is inappropriate even on a secondary façade, especially given that the current windows are among the last original windows facing the courtyard.

We ask the Commission to work with the applicant to ensure that the windows conform in look and function to the application that was previously approved.
