FRIENDS' Testimony:
The bronze-colored windows currently in place at 815 Park Avenue are modeled on the building’s original window configuration, though the original color was black. The proposed master plan allows the replacement of these existing 8/8, 6/6, and 1/1 aluminum windows with those of the same color, material, and configuration. Although the new windows will not match the original in color, the Preservation Committee at FRIENDS found them to be appropriate and supports Commission approval of this application.
