FRIENDS' Testimony:

Although this fence was installed over ten years ago, FRIENDS does not condone illegal work on landmarked buildings. This block has a number of large fences and areaways, and this fence encroaches onto a sidewalk that has already been compromised. While the fence height does not detract from the building, to us the design has a flimsy appearance. This enclosure should have been reviewed by the Commission in order to assess its appropriateness, and perhaps find a better solution.
