FRIENDS' Testimony:
FRIENDS Preservation Committee does not oppose the replacement of the entrance door of this Renaissance Revival apartment building. While we lament the loss of the charming revolving door, we appreciate the applicant’s thoughtful and respectful approach to this proposal, especially the choice to keep the existing curved joints at the floor.
The proposed materials and details are in keeping with the building’s character and style; and the new simulated multilight double door will allow for much needed ADA accessibility.
