ANNUAL AWARDS
FRIENDS’ Annual Awards recognize outstanding achievement in preservation, architecture, and advocacy on the Upper East Side on a yearly basis. The awards categories are flexible and can vary each year. Among other areas of accomplishment, previous winners have demonstrated excellence in Restoration, Rehabilitation, Design, and Stewardship. Individuals and advocacy groups who have displayed extraordinary achievement in the field of preservation are eligible. Nominations are typically sought in the fall for a spring awards ceremony held at locations throughout the Upper East Side.
The FRIENDS 41st Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony was held on April 12th, 2023. View images of the award recipients and photographs from the awards ceremony in the Awards Library below. Congratulations to the 2023 Award Recipients!
