“Beyond the Bricks” Launch Event November 16th

Join us on November 16th for light refreshments and a complimentary cocktail to celebrate the launch of BEYOND THE BRICKS - a project that highlights the Upper East Side's vibrant small business culture, neighborhood history, and talented local artists.

WEDNESDAY | NOVEMBER 16 | 6 TO 8 PM
RYAN'S DAUGHTER | 350 EAST 85TH STREET

Local pub Ryan's Daughter will be transformed into a gallery space featuring the stories of small business owners, original photography, and historical insights. Paired with work by local artists, these elements come together to spark conversations about what makes a community "beyond the bricks."

This project is a collaboration between FRIENDS OF THE UPPER EAST SIDE, MANHATTAN SIDEWAYS, and ART ON THE AVE.

Following the launch, original art will be on display in businesses around the neighborhood. The exhibit will continue at 966 Lexington Avenue, by appointment, until mid-January. Small business stories and history will also be on line at FRIENDS-UES.ORG/BEYOND-THE-BRICKS.
