FRIENDS' Testimony:

FRIENDS laments the loss of decorative brickwork to A/C louvers that were installed before the designation of the Park Avenue Historic District as well as the loss proposed in this application today. This unfortunate pre-designation mutilation set the precedent for the future installation of louvers of similar style and dimension, in keeping with the resulting piecemeal appearance of the fa├žade at the time of designation.

We reiterate our strong recommendation from the last time this building came before the Commission, that the co-op board establish a master plan for the windows and HVAC units in order to guide future projects.
