FRIENDS' Testimony:

FRIENDS’ Preservation Committee appreciates the applicant’s proposal to legalize the signage currently in place at 12 East 79th Street. While the scheme was found to be an improvement, some committee members questioned the need for two signs. We therefore ask the Commission to work with the applicant in crafting a compromise that balances the need for signage with the integrity of this historic building.
