A neo-Gothic style apartment building designed by Schwartz & Gross and built in 1928-29. Application is to modify lightwells.

FRIENDS' Testimony:
FRIENDS Preservation Committee does not object to installing a fully louvered window to increase cooling capacity. However, we ask the client to design the window in a way that at least creates the illusion of a regular window, thus maintaining the consistency on the 14th-floor façade as seen from 94th Street. We can also approve the removal of existing A/C units. When patching the openings with decorative bricks, we urge the client to restore the walls facing the inner courtyard with bricks in kind or in matching color.
