Twentieth Century Moderns: The East 60s

Join FRIENDS for an exciting new series of walking tours that explore the rich legacy of modernist architecture and design on the Upper East Side.

Led by veteran tour guide and architectural historian Matthew Postal, our first walking tour will highlight important mid-century modern and postmodern works by such trailblazing architects as William Lescaze, Paul Rudolph, and Raphael Viñoly. The route will include such varied buildings as Trinity Baptist Church, The Russell Sage Foundation, Manhattan House, and the Premiere Apartments.
