City of Yes? with NYC Planning Expert George Janes

JOIN FRIENDS of the Upper East Side Historic Districts and LANDMARK WEST! on January 18th, 2024 at 6:00 pm as we host zoning expert George Janes to better understand the scope of the City of Yes and the specific impacts they will have on the Upper East and Upper West Sides.

Under Mayor Adam’s guidance, the New York City Department of City Planning has proposed a suite of zoning changes under the umbrella of “City of Yes.”

Intended to “modernize and update our city’s zoning regulations to support small businesses, create affordable housing and promote sustainability,” this initiative comes in three parts: Zoning for Carbon Neutrality (already) passed and the under-review Zoning for Economic Opportunity and Zoning for Housing Opportunity.

Please note that this live program will be recorded.
