Since 1957, the German-American Steuben Parade has been held in September to commemorate the contributions of German immigrants and their descendants to American society.
Join FRIENDS as we march in the parade to celebrate Yorkville’s heritage as a uniquely wunderbar neighborhood. The route starts on Fifth Avenue, turning onto East 86th Street, once known as the “German Boulevard” and originally home to many German shops, konditoreis, biergartens, and dance halls. All are welcome to march!
